Bringing the warmth of childhood memories into a tangible space, Kedai Kopi Sejahtera is a kopitiam initiated by content creator and entrepreneur Arief Muhammad, inspired by his nostalgic upbringing in Batam. His vision: to create a humble, welcoming space where anyone can enjoy the sincerity and originality of a traditional kopitiam.

We were entrusted to renovate an existing coffee shop in Karawaci, responding to both the emotional value of the brand and the physical potential of the site. Our design added a semi-outdoor extension that bridges the indoor space with its surroundings—celebrating a connection to nature while maintaining functional flow.

Authenticity is key: we introduced solid wood elements, detailed carvings, and classic textures that echo the familiar warmth of a Southeast Asian coffee house. The result is a down-to-earth atmosphere that feels lived in, heartfelt, and timeless.
