Rumah Kipas Angin is a heartfelt renovation of a long-serving family home in Depok. The house had supported its residents for years and was now ready to evolve with their changing lifestyle.

We began by understanding the family’s daily needs. They required more bedrooms, smooth circulation, and a strong sense of privacy—especially for family members who wear hijab. These needs shaped the way we reimagined the layout.

We introduced a clear division between public, semi-private, and private zones. The new layout supports family gatherings while still allowing for moments of solitude. We also redesigned the facade and window openings to reduce visibility from the outside. This adjustment preserved natural light and air circulation while offering better protection and privacy.

This renovation was not just about improving the house. It was about honoring the family’s lifestyle, values, and the memories they’ve built over time.
